guys, as a vet, please I beg of you, do NOT do this
turmeric is poisonous to cats depending on dosage and you CANNOT accurately determine dosages at home
if your cat is yellow IT IS NOT GOOD and when it licks off all that turmeric residue it may develop nausea, vomiting, inappetance and god forbid liver lipidosis as a result
+ the dosage is like holistic-medicine level, just… *shakes head*
please just get a normal flea treatment I beg of you
“Oh, but Harm, I got a flea treatment and my cat still got fleas!”
ye a $3 collar from a pet shop isn’t going to cut it, fleas and ticks evolve and become resistant to the older and weaker substances on the market, so fipronil that’s been around for ~50 years is like water off a duck’s back to them
either dish out for a vet-prescribed flea treatment or just keep your cat indoors! then you can flea them only every 3-6 months when they get a little itchy, or never if they don’t!
also while we’re on the subject if it’s the only takeaway you get: NEVER
NEVER
NEVER
as in DO NOT put dog flea drops on a cat
almost definitely will cause tremors, seizures, and if untreated, coma and death
